From Maddy: Though my emotions were running high when first discovering the news, I am now so very grateful for the blessing of this baby in my life. I believe that he is meant to be in my life and that everything will work out as it should. I am excited and nervously waiting in anticipation of raising this little boy, who will arrive in August 2021. It’s not been easy and my life has and will continue to change dramatically, but I already know that it will very much be worth it. Having experienced all the previous emotions, I am all the more grateful that I did choose life. My only hope is that more mothers like me can also come to that realization. Having a child is very special, and though the situation and timing for me isn’t perfect, it’s my duty and privilege to make sure that my little boy, Harvey, has the best life possible.
