Johnson County Right to Life

Our Mission

Johnson County Right to Life believes in the sanctity of all human life, from conception to natural death, and believes that our society has a responsibility to protect the most vulnerable among us; the unborn, the elderly, and persons with disabilities. Our purpose is to educate and inform our community about pro life issues with the ultimate goal of ensuring legal protection of innocent human life.

September 28 – November 6    Total saved over 40 days: 636 of which we are aware.

Thank you to all who participated in the Iowa City/Johnson County 40 Days for Life!

We know what a sacrifice it is to interrupt our usual, comfortable, schedules to go and stand outside an abortuary and pray for all the men, women, unborn babies, staff and tragically misled abortionists who enter that building.

May Our Lord of all that is, look down and bless our acts of compassion, and continue to give us the strength to stand up for what is good and right.

The Iowa caucus will be held January 3.  I urge everyone to become educated on all of the candidates and attend the caucus in support of the one you find to be most worthy.

"When we think of people with disabilities in relation to ministry, we tend automatically to think of doing something for them.  We do not refelct that they can do something for us and with us. . . .People with disabilities can. . . .teach the non-disabled person much about strength and Christian acceptance.  Moreover, they have the same duty as all members of the community to do the Lord's work in the world, according to their God-given talents and capacity."
